Jean et John

So more spring/summer haute couture that has caught my eye. Everything is quite extravagent. The first is from Jean Paul Gaultier, the second set is from John Galliano. I must admit, alot of John Galliano's stuff is god awful ugly, but I left that out. All of the head pieces and hats are insane. I wish haute couture was all that exsisted, ready to wear is no fun. The themes are fairly similar. Crazy hats, big dresses, lots of interesting patterns and materials. Jean Paul Gaultier went for mute tones and black and whites, and John Gallianos stuff is all about COLOR!
The make up is so simple and beautiful, which is great with all the over the top clothes. When you scroll down you'll see John Galliano sort of forgot that rule.

Above is my favorite from the collection, though I would pair it with tights that were a little less seethrough!

The above dress is absolutely great, until you get to the script and realise it says Jean Paul Gaultier over and over. So bad. So tacky. Why did he think that was a good idea? Yuck. It almost completely ruins the dress. Almost.

Now below is John Gallianos stuff. The pirate hats are incredible! Possibly the best part of this is lovely Jessica Stam walked in his show!

I would love for things not to be see through. I would love for my hair to be as above every day.

Above is my favorite piece. I think all the hair is great, but as I said the make up is way too much for my taste. Not when theres so much hair and lace and pirate hats and colors and textures. Too much.

So cute!!
